Our Work is Our Values: Diversity, Equality, and Sustainability

Seventeen people. Seven nationalities. Ten languages. InspireAI is a team defined by its mix of perspectives. Diversity isn’t a goal we chased. It’s part of who we are, and it shapes both our culture and how we support clients

A global team in practice

Our team spans Spain, South Africa, Germany, Italy, Romania, Switzerland, and the UK. These different backgrounds mean different ways of thinking, and that ensures ideas are tested from multiple perspectives before they reach clients.

This global footprint is reinforced by language skills. As a team, we speak English, German, Spanish, Italian, French, Dutch, Romanian, Afrikaans, Mandarin, and Cantonese. It’s a point of pride and a practical advantage. Language skills help us collaborate more personally with global partners, removing cultural barriers and building stronger connections.

Equality reflected in balance

We’re pretty close to a 50/50 team gender split: 52.94% male, 47.06% female. It’s unfortunately an unusual balance for technology firms where women are still under-represented (35% in the US and only 26% in the UK). We see our gender split as a great reflection of how hiring, development, and progression are handled fairly. Teams are stronger when decisions are informed by diverse perspectives.

Commitments beyond the business

It’s important to us, and our team, to take responsibility for making a better world beyond our internal diversity. InspireAI has taken the Pledge 1%, a commitment inspired by Salesforce’s 1-1-1 model of giving back 1% of time, equity, and product. It’s a framework that helps companies of any size to embed philanthropy into daily operations. For us, it creates a discipline: to dedicate meaningful time and resources to social impact, not just talk about it.

We also support One Tree Planted, a global reforestation initiative. While we work in the digital space, preserving and restoring our natural landscapes for later generations is something we feel strongly about. We believe in the power of technology to build a better future, but the climate impact of technology is real, though often invisible.

These commitments anchor growth in responsibility as well as results.

“For us, diversity and sustainability aren’t initiatives, they’re part of how we work every day,”

– Jessica Leung, Head of People & Development at InspireAI.

Values that shape impact

By staying true to our values of inclusion and sustainability, we aim to create impact that goes beyond technology. A diverse, balanced team is better prepared to understand complex problems. A business that takes responsibility for its social and environmental footprint is better placed for sustainable growth.

Our mix of nationalities, languages, and perspectives makes us adaptable, relatable, and trusted in global partnerships. Our external commitments extend that culture, ensuring growth is measured not only in projects delivered but in contributions to the wider community and environment.

At InspireAI, values aren’t separate from our work; they shape the choices we make and the kind of organisation we want to build together.
